Roofing dumpsters · Illinois' first shingle recycler
Roofing dumpster rental in McHenry County with 10 tons included
Shingle dumpsters for roofers and homeowners across McHenry County and northern Illinois. Every load goes to our own shingle recycling operation, not the landfill.
Roofing dumpsters
A roofing dumpster from the company that recycles the shingles
Shingles are heavy. A roofing dumpster priced with plenty of weight included means no surprises when the tear-off is done.
Falcon Green Resources became Illinois' first shingle recycler in 1999, and we've produced more than 350,000 tons of ground shingles for hot mix asphalt since then. When you rent a roofing dumpster from us, your old roof goes to our own recycling operation and comes back as new pavement.
Our shingle dumpsters come in 10 and 20 yard sizes, and both include 10 tons in the price. Our hook-lift trucks place the dumpster right where your crew needs it, and for bigger jobs we can set multiple dumpsters on site.
- 10 tons included with every shingle dumpster
- Up-front pricing with no environmental or service fees
- Price matching available
- Same-day delivery when our schedule allows

Why roofers choose Falcon
Roofing dumpsters built for roofers and homeowners
Your shingles become new roads
We grind tear-off shingles into recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) for hot mix asphalt, so your roof stays out of the landfill.
Precise placement
Hook-lift trucks have lower clearance and better maneuverability than cable trucks, so we can set a dumpster close to the house. Driveway protection boards are available at an extra charge.
A greener bid
Recycling the tear-off gives roofers a green pitch that can help win jobs. See the benefits of shingle recycling.

Questions
Roofing dumpster rental FAQ
What size dumpster do I need for a roof tear-off?
A 10 yard shingle dumpster holds up to 35 square, and a 20 yard holds up to 75 square. Both include 10 tons. For bigger roofs, we can place multiple dumpsters on site.
How much weight is included in a roofing dumpster?
Every shingle recycling dumpster includes 10 tons in the price. Shingles are heavy, so that allowance covers most residential tear-offs.
What happens to my old shingles?
We grind them into recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) for hot mix asphalt. That keeps them out of the landfill and helps reduce crude oil extraction.
Do I need a permit for a roofing dumpster?
A dumpster in your own driveway normally doesn't require a permit. If it has to go on a public street, ask your city or village first. We're happy to talk through placement with you.
How soon can you deliver a roofing dumpster?
Dumpsters head out from our Woodstock yard, and the earlier in the day you call, the better your odds of same-day delivery. When the schedule is full, next-day delivery is typical.
